Please find below some useful information relating to your stay in La Manga Club

TEMPERATURES

La Manga Club enjoys a superb Mediterranean climate with over 320 days of sunshine a year. The average winter temperature is 60°F.

BUILDING WORKS

La Manga Club is a popular destination, and to cope with the demand for property, there are several building developments within the Club. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any residual background noise or building equipment that may be visible from some properties. We will of course advise you when you book if your property is particularly near to any ongoing development.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is essential that all members of your party are fully covered by a comprehensive travel insurance policy. Don’t forget to take the policy with you when you travel. GOLFERS remember if you are taking clubs, make sure that they are covered by the insurance as well.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

If you are a British subject, travelling to La Manga Club you must have a full British passport which is valid for 10 years (adults) and 5 years (children). If you do not hold a British passport, please check entry requirements for Visas etc with the Spanish Consulate.

CAR HIRE AND TAXI TRANSFERS

Due to the size of La Manga Club we recommend car hire. If you book your own car hire, please ensure you organise this in good time as transfers are not included in the property rental price. However, if you really do not want to hire a car, we can organise taxi or mini bus transfer from Murcia or Alicante airports to take you to the Club.

CLEANING

Up to 7 days Arrival clean, linen and towels per person, departure clean Up to 10 – 13 days + mid stay change of linen and towels Up to 14 days + mid stay clean of property and change of linen and towels Some properties have beach towels provided. Please check when booking.

EXTRA LINEN CHANGE

Linen and towels are generally changed weekly, except in certain properties. Please ask when booking. If you are particularly fastidious we’ll arrange to have them changed at an extra charge on request, or you can organise and pay for this on resort.

DAMAGES PAYMENT

The villas that we have available for rental are privately owned and much loved by their owners. We therefore will add £8.00 per property per booking which will act as cover for you up to £100 worth of accidental damage. Please bear in mind that the smarter the property, the easier it is to damage, and the more the damage costs to put it right.

EXTRAS

We can arrange cots, highchairs, stair gates, at extra cost. Please book when reserving your property.

SPORT BOOKING SERVICE

We offer a golf tee time and tennis pre-booking service. We will endeavour to book the tee times, courses and courts etc that you have requested. However you should be aware that these are subject to availability and occasionally they may have to be changed once they are booked.

If a sporting activity is an essential part of your visit to La Manga Club, we advise you to check tee times and or tennis availability prior to booking your accommodation and/or flights. We don’t want you to be disappointed! There is a strict SOFT SPIKE rule on all three courses. Golf Administration can change your spikes if required.

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE AND TOURNAMENTS

In order to maintain the high quality of courses for which La Manga Club is renowned there is a maintenance schedule for essential works. Please check at the time of booking regarding course closures. We regret that La Manga Direct cannot be held responsible for the playing conditions and state of courses including changes caused by the maintenance schedule, or weather conditions. Also some courses may be closed or unavailable for a number of hours due to major tournaments.

ENTERING AND LEAVING YOUR PROPERTY

Normal entry time into privately owned accommodation is 4pm on the day of arrival and we ask you to leave your property by 10.30am on the day of departure (La Quinta Club 10.00am) so the property can be prepared for incoming guests. Please bear these times in mind when you book your flights, some guests do not enjoy a long homeless wait on their day of departure!
